The way home…

We don’t live life as a whole, we live life as each moment.

Moments… is what is precious in life. As precious as they might be, the beauty stays in the way we perceive these moments – as happy or sad.

Our life is constituted of these moments.

The perceptions we derive from these moments, and the thoughts that get created from them, are what propel us forward to another tomorrow of our life – which is as smooth or as complicated as we choose it to be.

We, however, often tend to forget that we are wired to follow the path of least resistance. Most often it’s our resistance to this path called Life, that makes our journey cumbersome.

Nature is a typical example – as in, how many times have we seen a river fighting with a rock standing along its path? It never does, it just flows around it.

Hence, the question that we need to ask ourselves is…

Do we resist life? Do we view it positively or negatively?

Do we view life – as a glass half empty or half full?

And how often do we add a bit of whisky to just get a kick out it.. 🙂

How wonderful can one’s life be, if one were to notice the twists and turns of life in a more positive manner. Inadvertently, changing the way one views ones’ dark memories, effectively, converts those midnight pitch black moments of life into beautiful sunrises.

Life is unpredictable, yet so tantalizing!!

Many-a-times contingencies have bungled our intricate planning, on how to go about our lives. Oh yes, contingencies do still waltz into our lives… but hey… isn’t that what makes life interesting?

Not knowing just where we are headed, yet knowing that yes, it’s always a step forward.

Sometimes, Life would leave us gasping, sometimes clueless, sometimes excited and sometimes trepidated. I’m sure we all have wondered, how could we possibly make it predictable… just to be prepared.

The truth is, last decade how we were, last year how we were, last month how we were or even yesterday how we were –  isn’t how we are today !

This thought is so amazing to retrospect – to realize the maturity we have attained over the period. Our past has been the way it has been – filled with joyous, pathetic, sad, downtrodden, loving, beautiful, disgusting, amazing, touching moments… because we chose to perceive them that way. It still lies in our hands to change the way we perceive the path already trodden.

It helps us realize the strength we possess, to do what it takes, as we move onward. If we are to sit back and reminisce, it might just surprise us.

As a wise man once said…

We are never given a situation, we can’t handle…

We will never know what happens in our tomorrows, no matter how well we plan, but that’s OK.

Isn’t that what Life is about?

Guess the best part is… our future still lies ahead of us… 🙂

I have come quite far in my journey of life and at times I feel I have drifted far away from home. The home of my thoughts and of my way of being – the place from where I evolved into someone I didn’t know who I am anymore.

I may not know where I am headed right now, but yes, it is a step forward, to knowing my way home… and that thought, could go a long way in finding my way back home.

Let me not try to overcome any more situations.

Let me not resist anymore and just flow by Life as we have always been meant to do.

Let me enjoy this journey called Life.

Let flow to my way home.

Would be a great encouragement, if you could like & follow.
